Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power to Leave Early Access August 20th
Frozenbyte has just announced that Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power is just about ready to leave Steam’s Early Access.
Trine 3 will be fully released on August 20th, get ready to embark on a perilous journey.
Trine 3 entered Early Access in April of 2015, and since then has had a very devout following. No doubt due to the communicative nature of Frozenbyte, it’s evolved to become a very polished game with a tremendously large atmosphere and great story.
You continue the story of the three primary protagonists, Pontius, Amadeus and Zoya. The Trine has been destroyed by your meddling with things outside of your understanding, and now you must put things right. Undo the damage that could very well have even larger consequences.
New to the Trine series is the inclusion of a 3D element to the game, though still focusing on the great 2D visuals and backdrops that made it a classic hit when the first Trine was released in 2009.
It’s available on Steam now for $19.99 if you’d like to try your hand at Early Access, or you can wait until the 20th to see how the final version of the game turns out. But beware that it already has an overwhelmingly positive reception from fans and gamers alike.
