There are not many iOS games that have become worldwide phenomenons. Angry Birds is one such game that has literally taken the whole world by storm. It was released initially only for iOS devices, but now this game is available on almost every platform be it desktop or mobile. Only recently is was revealed that Angry Birds Star Wars release is going to take place soon. Needless to say, lovers of this franchise are more than excited.

There is a possibility that this game is going to be a huge hit on all of the platforms that it will be made available for. This game is a union between Angry Birds and Star Wars. While there may be disagreement over the former, but seriously, who doesn’t like Star Wars?

It has no story to it, just endless imagination and creativity. You are presented a situation throughout the game via the levels and are given the simple and at times daunting task of collecting “Starites” It can be as simple as getting a Starite off a tree or even as challenging as solving a series of riddles to be rewarded with the Starite at the end of it all. This is where Scribblenauts Remix comes in for the iOS so that players can dive into the world of imagination and near endless possibilities.

Super Crate Box isn’t your regular run of the mill arcade game, the game is punishing, difficult to survive and it only gets much harder. This is what gaming used to be like before it came to where it is today, this isn’t your simple Temple Run or Angry Birds which any average Joe can just pick up and be a pro at. This game will literally put you in a corner and punish you for it. You have to find a way to NOT being cornered and survive! This is a return to the golden days of gaming, back when 8 bit and 16 bit graphics were considered the pinnacle of great graphics!

Bad Piggies is Rovio’s newest entry, best known for the sensational line of a large mobile game called “Angry Birds” people were getting tired of the same old birds being shown off in different ways, first they were on earth, then they took the holidays, other special events and then even went as far as the reaches of space defying gravity just to get their revenge on the green pigs. But Bad Piggies is a game that does away with the birds and takes us to a completely new concept. While the concept has been done before by other studios Rovio has worked its magic and made it something even more incredible. If you are tired of the bird’s eye view of things it would nice to see things from the pigs’ perspective for once.

Assassins Creed 3 may take us to the American Revolution era whose story is more than evident (spoiler: America Wins) but Assassins Creed has always had a unique sense of story telling and hidden messages in images (Those of us who had to travel through Subject 16′s memories in Brotherhood and Assassins Creed 2 are all too familiar with this) but this time Ubisoft has really pulled a fast one on the fans as they haven’t even waited for a game to hide said image in. What appears to be a simple picture is actually a puzzle, It may look like an Assassin overseeing a boxing match but in reality it looks like something more! Especially when you examine it in it’s finer details! I bet you probably wouldn’t have guessed there is a QR-Code hidden somewhere. With all the excitement for Assassins Creed 3 this is some very clever marketing taking place right here!

With Far Cry 3 making its mark on consoles and PC at many events earlier this year (especially E3) its no wonder fans are very excited about this magnificent game. But Ubisoft has gone one step ahead of marketing this game and have in fact decided to recreate the world of Far Cry 3 into Minecraft into a perfect 1-1 Scale, this was recently done to World of Warcraft (More specifically created Kalimdor to a 1-1 Scale) But this time this mod isn’t being done by a fan and Ubisoft has acquired the talents of Michael Lambert to do the transition of a beautiful jungle world into a world of block heaven. The transition has been given the appropriate title of “Minecryft”

“Dragonborn” is the new name of the upcoming DLC that was allegedly uncovered in a PC update, While the year has gone by and a new one is slowly dawning upon us this doesn’t mean that the AAA title games of yesteryear will be easily forgotten! Just because people are now playing or waiting for new titles doesn’t mean that legendary games like Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim will go down easily!
