Tim Cook Says the Apple Watch Has Helped Him Keep up His Great Shape – Lost 30 Pounds While Using the Wearable
Most executives might not be fond of the products that the company they’re spearheading releases, but the CEO of Apple Tim Cook is certainly of the opposite opinion. In a recent interview, Cook claims how the Apple Watch has helped him shed a lot of weight, possibly adding more years to his life in the process.
Tim Cook Has a Strict Regime When It Comes to Keeping in Shape – Partially Credits the Apple Watch for Helping Him Lose so Much Weight
Even before the Apple Watch, Tim Cook followed a strict regime that helped him to keep in shape. After all, running the most valuable tech company in the world will bring around a torrent of challenges and the CEO needs to keep fit in order to be at his physical and mental peak.
Before the company had announced the Apple Watch, Tim Cook would wake up at 4 am, hit the gym and start his day tackling the day-to-day problems of the company.
In an interview with CNBC, Tim Cook gives the wearable its due credit where it is owed.
“You know, the watch has been an incredible move into health, in the wellness and fitness piece. Yes, for me too. I’ve lost 30 pounds— partly to my watch.”
The new Apple Watch Series 1 and 2 also bring around a significant number of improvements, especially when it comes to better battery and functionality. There are rumors that another wearable is going to be announced this year, but seeing as how the company already rolled out two versions in 2016, we highly doubt that this is going to be the case.
