Sword Coast Legends Release Date Confirmed, Also Coming to PS4 and Xbox One

Posted 1 year ago

Sword Coast Legends’ release date has finally be officially set and will be gracing the PC on September 8th 2015. N-Space also revealed that they’re going to release it on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One a year after the PC release.

Sword Coast Legends is going to be available on the PC on September the 8th with a console debut one year later.

The newest E3 teaser trailer for Sword Coast Legends shows off what a truly vibrant and luscious world they have in store for us with their modern interpretation of a Dungeons and Dragons top-down CRPG. The trailer also keenly represents how you can adapt the game to your specific play style, making for a great and unique experience.

Perhaps the surprising news, however, is that Sword Coast Legends will be releasing on all major platforms at some point, with the PC, Linux (and SteamOS) and Mac being the first. But that’s not all, the PS4 and Xbox One will also be getting the complex and engrossing CRPG as well. This is apparently in response to the strongly positive response to their presentation at GDC.

After we announced and demonstrated Sword Coast Legends to overwhelmingly positive response at GDC, the press, partners, and fans all requested more. They wanted Mac, so we’re doing it. They wanted Linux, so we’re doing it. They clamored for console… so we circled back and figured out how to do it without compromising our vision for PC gamers. This addition to our existing PC, Mac and Linux versions ensures gamers will be able to have that classic D&D experience whenever, wherever and however they want.

– Dan Tudge, President of n-Space

N-Space has had the goal of evolving the CRPG and modernizing it to today’s audience, bringing bigger and better visuals to an already rich and complex universe. The stories that have been told and that will be told in the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop experience can now be brought back to video games, properly.

We’ve had a clear goal since day one to evoke the classic D&D experience between four players and a Dungeon Master, and to bring back memories of the great D&D games of the past

-Dan Tudge

Sword Coast Legends is anticipated to be a highly successful game not only with the classic D&D crowd, but outside of that as well. It brings story telling to life with a diverse cast of characters and engrossing gameplay.
