Every self respecting PC gamer MUST have a steam account, it is the essential of any PC gamer if they want cheap deals on digital games with a good community. Steam has been hard at work on a making their software more Mobile and they have been running Beta tests for a while now for Android and iOS, but now the app is out for free on both ready for download and with the help of the app you can keep in touch with steam on the go and do almost everything except play your video games :D, the best part is how you are still able to make purchases so that you never have to miss a deal again if you aren’t near a PC.

The iOS version of steam requires an iOS 4.0+ OS running on it, so those of you who own iPhone 2G or 3G’s can forget about installing this but the app is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G and even iPad and iPad 2.

You can download the iOS Version from the app store right now or you can download it from HERE too

The Android version of the app requires Android 2.1 and up which means that MOST devices will probably be able to run this app but its best to run it on 2.2 for the most boost.

You can download the android version from the marketplace or directly by going HERE , incidentally its  also available on the Amazon Appstore too if that’s your preference, go HERE

Android users without access to the marketplace can download the .apk file directly from HERE
