Earlier this week, Star Wars Battlefront has finally received a new update which introduced some new content, bug fixes and balance changes. Some of these changes did not sit well with some players and today Star Wars Battlefront Community Manager Sledgehammer70 has revealed that the team will provide more insight in the coming week.

According to Sledgehammer70, the Star Wars Battlefront team is currently busy reviewing reports on the January Update and feedback on future free content and Season Pass. The team is not going to provide more insight about the latest balance changes, but also more on the issues that haven’t been solved by this week’s update.

“Our team has been reviewing reports and feedback across the board over the last 36 hours based on the January Update and feedback around the future free content and Season Pass.
We’re aware that some of you within the community do not agree with some of the balance changes, and I am working with our team to provide more insight in the coming week around those changes. We are also aware that some of the bug fixes outlined seem to have not resolved some reported issues (looking at you ‘Playing the Objective’). I am looking into these reports and again will follow up as soon as I have details to share. Thank you for your patience, and I look forward to posting about more updates and news.”

Sledgehammer70  also talked about the A-Wing issues a few hours back. The team is looking to address  the concerns on the matter and a lot of these fixes will be coming in the February Update.

Many of you have come to the forums and have DM’ed many times about the A-Wing. We’re very aware of the reports around the A-Wing and are very much looking to address a lot of the communities concerns. Unfortunately, A-Wing changes did not make it into the January Update.

The team is working to bring a lot of these fixes in our February update, and we will provide specific details as we get closer to that launch. We do not currently have an ETA for the February release.

The Star Wars 1.04 update includes plenty of balance changes and bug fixes as well as some new features like Hoth-themed outfits for Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, the ability to create Private Matches and much more.
