DICE has touched upon a few details on the level of customization that will be available in Star Wars Battlefront.

Having recently confirmed that there will be no classes in Star Wars Battlefront, they have rather enabled players to have more control over customization of their characters.

EA Star Wars tweeted the following regarding customization:

“We will allow customization, such as selecting various character heads, loadouts, emotes etc.”

Given the many races that will be available in Battlefront, being able to customize character heads and other features could indeed prove very exciting. Hopefully we will see the return of the Wookie as a controllable character.

The alien races of Ishi Tib and Sullustan were seen in the recent trailer, and it was also confirmed that female characters will also be playable in Battlefront.

We will be seeing the first public gameplay footage of Star Wars Battlefront at E3 2015, during EA’s press conference on June 15. EA seems pretty confident about E3 2015, stating that they will bring the house down, and given that they will be showing Need for Speed, Star Wars Battlefront, Mass Effect, Mirror’s Edge, a new Plants vs Zombies game, and at least one more Star Wars title, I would have to agree that they could definitely achieve that.

Preorders for Star Wars Battlefront are available for both the Standard and Deluxe versions. As producer Jesper Nielsen stated, gameplay will come in due time, so it would be safe to assume that the development diaries will lead up to that.
