The Star Ocean series is finally making a glorious comeback this year with Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness and Square Enix has been talking more about the game in the past few weeks. With the Japanese final release date getting closer, the publisher has shared earlier today the final box art for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.

The box art for both Star Ocean 5 versions is pretty much the same, with main character Fidel Camuze taking the main spot in the center and the other main characters placed all around him. You can check out both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 box art right below.

A few hours ago some new Star Ocean 5 screenshots have also been shared online. The new screenshots focus on Welch Vineyard, item creation, one of the main features of the Star Ocean series, and battles. You can check out the screenshots right below.

Star Ocean 5: Integrity And Faithlessness will take place between the second entry of the series, Star Ocean: The Second Story, and the third, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. Even though the game is set before the third game, the team revealed that they will also address the big twist included in Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, a twist that impacted the entire series.

Star Ocean 5: Integrity And Faithlessness will launch in Japan on March 31st in Japan on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 4 version has been confirmed for the West but it has yet to receive a solid release date outside of a generic 2016 release date. We will let you know more about tri-Ace’s next role playing game as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news.
