Is it possible to not see Sony at one of the biggest smartphone unveiling events of the year? Most definitely not, and the Japanese firm has showcased not just smartphones, but a multitude of other products, which you will see shortly.
Sony Unveils Its Xperia X, Xperia X Performance Xperia XA
Unveiled at MWC 2016 was not one, but three smartphones. According to the company, it states the following:
“With our continued passion for technology, we will keep adding new and exciting features to evolve our smartphones. At the same time, we want to change how you access information and interact with friends and family in a closer, natural and more meaningful way.”
The new Sony smartphone lineup boasts a better camera sensor, battery capacity and of course the unique near rectangular design that the company is so famous for employing in not only its smartphones, but tablets too. The new Predictive Hybrid Autofocus present in both Xperia X and Xperia X Performance allows you to choose your subject and then predicts its motion, so you can capture the action in perfect focus, free from blur.
Now, as far as which chipsets are present inside both devices, Xperia X Performance, as the name suggests, features a Snapdragon 820 while the regular Xperia X sports a Snapdragon 650.
As for Xperia XA, the smartphone possesses a near edge-to-edge display to deliver the most astounding level of looks in a mobile device. All three handsets from Sony will be available in the following colors and will be available to purchase during Summer 2016.
- Graphite Black
- Lime Gold
- Rose Gold (after the Rose Gold iPhone, looks like everyone is following this trend)
