A Jailbreak for iOS 4.1 may be available really soon which is good news for those willing to jailbreak their Handhelds running on the Latest iOS. Sn0wbreeze developer, iH8sn0w has confirmed they are planning to release Sn0wbreeze 2.0 soon for iOS 4.1. DinoD7, A member of the DEV team, DinoD7 has also posted a video which shows that it is possible to jailbreak iOS 4.1 using the latest Sn0wbreeze 2.0 Jailbreaking tool.

Proof Of 4.1 iPhone Jailbreak

It seems like the new Sn0wbreeze 2.0 will be able to jailbreak iPhone 3GiPod Touch 2G MC Model, iPhone 3GS with older bootrom and iPhone 3GS and iPodTouch 3rd generation with newer bootrom if it’s still on iPhone 3.1.2. Unfortunately, The jailbreak will not be available for the iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 4G but they will add support for them too as soon as the Chronic team release their SHAtter Jailbreak.

The SHAtter jailbreak progress has been updated by the Chronic DEV Team and according to them it should be able to jailbreak all existing iOS devices.

Many people in the comments are asking for a progress update. Any kind of update that we could actually give would be too technical for anyone to understand anyway, not to mention potentially reveal the exploit. Just know that things are going swimmingly and we are working as hard as we can. Any demos, screenshots, or *cough* download links will be posted to this blog before anywhere else, so keep an eye out!
