Rumor Says The iPhone 7 To Come In ‘Deep Blue’ While Space Grey To Be Discontinued

According to a Japanese website, Mac Otakara Apple has plans to ditch the Space Grey color in iPhone 7 while replacing it with “deep blue”. Currently, Apple offers a space grey color on all of its iOS devices, so it will definitely be strange if the Cupertino camp decides to forgo it in favor of the blue.

The Space Grey color was originally debuted in 2013 alongside the iPhone 5s. Since then, it has been widely adopted by other Apple products such as the iPad and MacBook lineup.

According to a reliable Chinese source, liquid crystal glass surface of the next iPhone is not the same as the current model. However, it seems a new deep blue color is added. Current Silver, Gold, joined by Deep Blue to Rose Gold, information sources that there is a high possibility that the space gray disappears says.

According To Reliable Information From A Chinese Supplier, The LCD Glass Surface Of The IPhone 7 To Be Released By Apple As The Next Model Will Be The Same As That Of The Current Model. However, A Deep Blue Color Will Probably Be Added This Time. As a Deep Blue will be added to the current Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold, it is highly likely that the Space Gray will be discontinued, says the informed source.

The removal of the Space Grey Color is a little hard to swallow as it has been the most popular color option among a lot of users. Currently, it is available in stores and online. Furthermore, Mac Okatara claims that the iPhone 7 will be incorporated with the same LCD glass surface as the iPhone 6s. Some previous rumors and reports have suggested that Apple is not looking to expand the display properties of the iPhone 7 at this point and this report is inline with them. It is highly expected that Apple will introduce OLED screens in 2017 with the Plus variant to get a slightly bigger display.

In terms of design, the iPhone 7 has been reported to boast similar design and aesthetics as the iPhone 6s with re-positioned antenna lines and a bigger camera. Dual camera module will be implemented on the bigger Plus variant of the iPhone 7 as well, according to the plethora of leaks which has surfaced already. Other changes include water and dust-resistant and the  absence of the 3.5mm headphone jack.
