Rise of Tomb Raider – New Pictures Surfaced Through OXM

The Prequel to the Rise of Tomb Raider,  ‘The Tomb Raider’ was one of best games of 2013, and loved by all, the hype behind the Rise of Tomb Raider is justified. Ever since its reveal, it has created a lot of buzz in the gaming world probably because the game will be a timed-exclusive meaning that it’s coming first to Xbox One due to a partnership agreement between the Tomb Raider team and Microsoft and will also later surface to the PS4 platform, something that angered a lot of PS4 owners and fans.

 

New Pictures on The Official Xbox Magazine Show a Very Neat Game in Terms of Graphics

We don’t know too much about the game yet, but we do know that the story will continue from the focus on Lara’s struggle to come to grips with what happened to her and what she did on the island. The game was revealed on E3 2014 by Crystal Dynamics, finally deciding that it was time that the fans get something new in the shape of the sequel to the Tomb Raider series. More recently , Lara has had some amazing art released, this being one of those times where you can see a very interesting game with bright snow and a dimming yellow light with some very amazing scenarios to the game. I don’t know about you, but the realistic snowy environment of the game gives me the chills. Have a look at the screenshots below yourself.

The game takes it’s place as a timed exclusive for the Xbox One and its some news to be excited about as it is a very big title which brings huge anticipation to the table. This being a timed exclusive also show the confidence that the developers have in the success of the game or else they wouldn’t have made an agreement for it to be a timed exclusive to one console. And if the game really does fulfill the expectation, lets say that the Rise of Tomb Raider gets an 8 out of 10 in the reviews to its earlier release on Xbox One, it’s late release on the PS4 will be much more anticipated and awaited and hence will receive a bigger boost in terms of sales and players buying the game. Hence the delay will make sure that the game gets only the attention it deserves from the PlayStation owners.
