Rare Officially Confirms Sea of Thieves CrossPlay, Shares New 4K Screenshots
Rare’s Executive Producer Joe Neate appeared on the Xbox Gamescom 2017 show to officially confirm that Sea of Thieves will feature crossplay functionality between Windows 10 PC and Xbox One devices.
Rare had made no secret to be evaluating crossplay, but it wasn’t official yet. This is good news for the community as a whole, which will be inevitably bigger than without crossplay.
Microsoft also shared some new 4K screenshots of Sea of Thieves, check them out in the gallery. Sea of Thieves is coming out in Spring 2018 for Windows 10 PC and Xbox One.
