Last month, Microsoft and Remedy Entertainment confirmed that Quantum Break, the third person action adventure game now available on the Windows Store and Xbox One, will be hitting Steam in early September. Unfortunately, this new release of the game has been delayed.

Earlier today, Remedy Entertainment confirmed that Quantum Break will launch on Steam on September 29th, and not on September 14th as previously announced. The delay was caused by the need of additional time required for mastering and manufacturing the game’s Timeless Collector’s Edition.

Due to additional time required for mastering and manufacturing the Quantum Break – Timeless Collector’s Edition for retail, the decision has been made to move the release to September 29th. This concerns both, the Steam version, as well as the retail edition.

Quantum Break: Timeless Collector’s Edition retails at EUR/USD 39.99 and contains:

Premium packaging
5 Game Discs (onetime Steam key validation required)
Making Of Blu-ray
Making Of Book (where an Art Book meets a Making-Of)
1 Soundtrack CD (Audio-CD)
2 A3 Poster (one double-sided print)
