Only a few days from launch, The Point of View’s TGT series based GTX 680 Beast which is the fastest factory overclocked GTX 680 to date has been tested by the guys at Fudzilla.

The Point of View GTX 680 is called “Beast” for two reasons, First is the 1228MHz Boost clock which comes out of box and second is its triple slot cooling design. Standard clock speed remains set at 1162MHz while the 2GB GDDR5 memory also runs at stock 1502MHz (6008MHz Effective).

There are three fans located on the cooler shroud, the center one is 90mm while the other two are 80mm and operate alot quieter than the reference solution. The heatsink consists of two densely packed aluminum blocks which are equipped with five copper heatsinks. Even under heavy load, the GPU didn’t went past the 70C.

Power is provided through 8 + 6 Pin PCIe connectors which pumps up the five phase VRM design. Display includes    two dual-link DVI outs, one standard HDMI and one DisplayPort.

You can check out the benchmarks of the card below, all other GPUs tested were obliterated by the Beast:

The card officially launches in a few days, priced at around 550 euro.
