PlayStation 3D Display Coming November 13

Sony announced its 3D display at E3 in June 2011 and the wait is finally over. The display will be available on November 13th. Furthermore Sony has also detailed its features and specifications- SimulView™.  A video also shows off the upcoming display, given after the break.

The 24-inch HD display, with a 1920×1080 resolution, will feature 2 HDMI inputs,  a component input and a headphone jack. It will not only deliver a true gaming experience but also a relishing experience of cable TV, PC or media box. The display also has a good quality sound system with a subwoofer   will take your gaming experience to the next level. The refresh rate is 240Hz for smooth playback and the edge LED technology will offer high contrast and an ultra slim design, adding to its beauty.

The best part and obviously something that will be taking you down with curiosity is the new SimuiView technology. It allows two gamers get their own 2D display screen with 3D glasses during split screen gaming. Briefly this technology duplicates the display screen with 3D glasses for split screen games. This technology is limited and exclusive to the Playstation 3D display only. The video below shows off further about the display.

The display will be available on November 13th for $499 and the package will include; display screen, PlayStation® 3D Glasses ,  MotorStorm: Apocalypse game and an HDMI cable. You can get an extra PlayStation 3D glasses for $70.
