OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan Public Beta 2 Released
Having released a myriad of beta software this week, Apple has today pushed out OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan Public Beta 2 to public testers.
Apple rolled out the second developer beta of OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan a couple of days back alongside tvOS 9.1 as well as iOS 9.2 beta 2 and Public Beta 2. The only bit missing from the picture was the second Public Beta of OS X 10.11.2, but thankfully, Apple has released that as well today.
Just like any other pre-release software update from Apple, grabbing the new Pubic Beta of OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan is an absolute walk in the park. Provided that you’re connected to a good and stable Internet connection, simply launch the Mac App Store and click on the ‘Updates’ tab at the top. The Mac App Store will refresh and will present to you all the updates that are available for your Mac, with the Public Beta 2 of OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan being one of them. Simply download and install as you normally would. But also keep in mind that the installation process will require you to restart your Mac in order to complete the entire process, so make sure that you save any open documents or work related stuff beforehand.
We’re quite certain that Public Beta 2 of OS X 10.11.2 contains all the fixes that were packaged as part of the developer oriented beta, which was pushed out a couple of days ago, so users shouldn’t expect anything new on the features front.
If you want to try out the new beta of OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan right away, then you can do so without tossing in a single penny. Simply head over to our guide on how to get up and running with the Public Beta software: OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan Public Beta Now Available To Download.

If we find anything new in this build then we’ll definitely report back with our findings, so stay tuned. Meanwhile do let us know how Public Beta 2 is faring for you so far.
