The Finnish phone powerhouse Nokia is staging to make a comeback with an announcement that will involve between 3-4 mobile devices that will include smartphones and tablets. Will Nokia be able to bring itself back to its former glories?

Intended Mobile Devices to Be Announced by Nokia Will All be Running Android Nougat 7.0

The unveiling of these mobile devices will commence during the fourth quarter of this year, although the actual launch is naturally going to take place next year. As stated above, since Nokia is now rid of the Windows Mobile shackles, it’s obviously going to stick to the most popular mobile OS on the planet, but with the smartphone market going through a phase of stagnancy, how successful will the launch of these phones will be? Well, to be fair most manufacturers add all the glitter to the announcement and launch of the phones, and completely forget about the most important part of the smartphone business: timely software updates and excellent ‘after sales’ services.

It’s not clear if the UI used by Nokia is going to be heavily customized like TouchWiz, but it’s more preferable if Nokia would end up adopting something that’s leaning more towards stock Android, while adding a bunch of cool features that don’t really get in your way when you’re trying to do something. The advantage of this approach will be is that the UI is not going to be stressing the available system resources, and you’ll actually have a little more on your plate to play around with compared to the actual stock Android phones.

From what we know, two phones intended to be released by Nokia will come in the 5.2 and 5.5-inch screen sizes and both of them will feature a Snapdragon 820 SoC, QHD OLED displays and 22.6MP camera sensors. While these hardware specs look terrific on paper, let us see how they will truly perform when critics get their hands on them.
