When we got a good read about the internals that powered the Nokia 6, we have to say that the manufacturer definitely took some interesting decisions when rolling out this particular handset. That being said, the company has decided to answer some queries, with the first one being the decision behind its hardware specifications.

Nokia Claims the Hardware Combination of Chipset, RAM and storage Was Suitable Because It Would Be Used by a Lot of Smartphone Users

According to the FAQ section (via MyDrivers), Nokia states that the Nokia 6 uses a Snapdragon 430, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage configuration because that is a hardware combination that can be used by most users. Naturally, lots of readers must have been perplexed at the fact that despite exhibiting a premium design, the Nokia 6 falls short in the chipset department and suddenly has us scratching our heads when it was detailed that there’s a large amount of RAM and internal memory underneath the hood since those values are something that you normally find on flagship devices.

Nokia also states that since Snapdragon 430 utilizes less power-hungry processing cores, it would put less strain on the battery, thus giving users more battery life out of the handset. To bring you up to speed, the Nokia 6’s 5.5-inch frame is incorporated with a 3,000mAh battery, which is decent for a device that’s going to retail for slightly less than $250, but that also puts pressure on the manufacturer to bring out the best possible flagship for 2017.

The presence of the Snapdragon 430 also provides further insight that the Snapdragon 835-powered handset will be announced in the near future. Keep in mind that the Finnish smartphone firm has been rumored to release a large family of phones on 2017, so we’ll keep you updated on every corner as much as possible. It is not every day that a famous brand is resurrected, but it should remind itself that it is going to go head to head with one of the most competitive phone makers in the world.
