Nintendo Direct – Tomorrow April 1st at 6pm Eastern Time

Nintendo will be holding a Nintendo Direct showcase tomorrow at 6 p.m. ET. Nintendo did not detail what will be discussed, but they did make it clear that it is not an April Fools joke.  The broadcast will be followed by a Nintendo Treehouse presentation.

 

The broadcast can be viewed at nintendo’s official site or over at their Twitch channel.

April 1st is the end of Japan’s Fiscal year, so to feature a Nintendo Direct on the same day is quite appropriate and ideal for Nintendo’s investors. Even though Nintendo themselves did not reveal any details as to what will be discussed, some information has been leaked.

Below is what will be featured in the Nintendo Direct, although it might not be completely accurate.

 

Iwata apologizes again for the late Zelda Wii U.

A new Paper Mario developed by Intelligent Systems and the first trailer of the game.

Will be presented Pokémon Rumble World which will be released April 17 on Wii U and 3DS eShop.

The titles of SNES Virtual Console will also be published on the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U those of Game Boy and Game Boy Color, maybe will be introduced cross-platforms to buy Virtual Console games.

The eShop will also be available on the Web and is the first fruit of the collaboration between Nintendo and DeNA.

New features on the eShop as preorders.

Games that will be presented:

  • Splatoon
  • Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush
  • Code Name: STEAM
  • Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition

The app Amiibo Gallery, will allow you to interact with Miiverse also the Amiibo could lead on the mobile segment of the first game in which they appeared (eg. By scanning links will be played at the first Zelda for NES).

The games of the Nintendo 64 will be available on Wii U eShop from June, here is a list of the releases:

  • June 4: Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
  • June 11: Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
  • June 18: Super Smash Bros.
  • June 25: 1080 ° Snowboarding.
