The Motorola Droid is perhaps one of the best Android OS available phones available out in the market with the recent release of the Motorola Droid 2, there is going to be the release of an enhanced model called the “Global” which will sport a whole bunch of new features such as

  • ARM v7 clocked to 1.2Ghz
  • 512MB of RAM
  • Motoblur
  • 5 Megapixel camera
  • 480 x 854 display @ 68hz

Not only has this bad boy been pictured but it has been benchmarked as well, and from what is shown in the benchmark the phone surpasses even the infamous Nexus One, These benchmarks were of course taken while the phone was running on Android 2.2 Aka Froyo. With Froyo this phone really does shine when a good processor is thrown in to the mix. There was no mention of the phones availability or release date but when this phone does come out I am sure many Android Enthusiast with deep pockets would certainly want to get their hand dirty with this phone and do what they please with it.
