Mortal Kombat X – “System Of A Down” Launch Trailer – Mortal Kombat Producer Receives Violent Threats Against His Family

NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros have released the launch trailer of mortal Kombat X. The trailer is directed by System Of A Down’s Shavo Odadjian, with glimpses of iconic moments, a cast of new and returning Kombatants and heart-pounding fight sequences set to the band’s hit song, “Chop Suey!”

On March 26, Mortal Kombat producer Shaun Himmerick posted a threatening message (NSFW) he received from a fan regarding his wife. Himmerick announced he would be leaving Twitter, and changed his Twitter name  to “come on people.”

“I cannot deal with the threats of violence to my wife and now young daughter. Threats of sexual violence are even more disturbing.”

 

 

Mortal Kombat X finally hits the shelves on April 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will be coming later in the Summer.
