Apple’s retail and online stores, along with other authorized resellers, will begin carrying the MOGA Ace Power gamepad for iPhone this week, giving smartphone gamers more precise physical controls on their mobile device.

MOGA is not the first though in its announcement of launching MOGA iOS 7 game controller. As LogiTech and others have also shown hints about releasing gaming accessories for iOS. However, by releasing its game controller tomorrow, MOGA will become the first ever to officially make use of the iOS 7 game controller API.

MOGA iOS 7 Game Controller:

Additionally, I’ve found myslf actually enjoying playing first person shooters on my iPhone for the first time I can ever remember. All the frustration of having your thumbs all over the screen desperately trying to look and move while avoiding and/or hitting a plethora of virtual buttons just totally fades away. If you’re a huge fan of iOS first person shooters, consider one of these controllers an absolute must-have accessory.

Even in the best games, rough edges are everywhere when using an iOS 7 controller. Virtual buttons still persist on screen regardless of whether or not you’re using a controller in most of the games I’ve tried. I’ve been the most excited for the potential of Bluetooth iOS 7 controllers, and having one that uses the Lightning port is vaguely disappointing because of the limitations it imposes. – Touch Arcade review of MOGA iOS 7 game controller.

The review does mention some hardware misses and its despicable plastic feel. It is only an entry into the gaming world for iOS devices so let’s be patient a little before something transforms iOS gaming forever?

This adapted version will be available tomorrow for $99 and can be purchased from Apple retail and online store along with MOGA’s website.
