Apple WWDC’17 was a widely awaited event especially by the Apple fans. Apple executives including CEO Tim Cook, Craig Federighi and Phil Schiller took the stage. This excitement turned to madness as the conference progressed and the company announced some new and exciting features to its existing products and even a brand new product for its customers. A New Operating System For Apple Watch

The company announced a new operating system for the Apple Watch. The WatchOS 4 features new watch faces. Siri cards can be placed front and center. Successor to Sierra – macOS High Sierra

This is basically a successor to Sierra which was announced last year. This system will be supporting virtual reality headsets, providing security improvements to Safari, featuring a new photo search feature and a new Apple File System. High Sierra is expected to be available in the upcoming months.

The world of iMacs now bigger and better

The company just updated the iMac after a long while and has added sharper imaging and brighter displays to it. It also now has new intel processors. It also announced the new iMac pro which will start from $4,999 and according to the company is “the most powerful Mac we have ever made.” It is no doubt a very lucky year for iMac and of course the iMac lovers. iOS 11 features highlights

iOS 11 is coming this year in September and will include new features for both the iPhone and iPad. Improvements to Siri have been made which will allow synchronization with different iOS devices easier. Cloud storage of messages will also be possible. iOS 11 also opens up the NFC sensor on iPhone to read tags and data. New features iOS 11 for the iPad were also introduced in the conference.

iPad Pro 10.5

The new iPad Pro 10.5 was also introduced. It has a bigger display and a much faster refresh rate. It comes with a new A10X processor that will enhance gaming and overall app performance. These features were also introduced in the iPad Pro 12.9.

Apple HomePod speaker

This is a brand new product launched by Apple. It is basically a Siri powered smart speaker with a lot of features. You can play music, check traffic, control smart lights etc. Now where have we heard all this before? Yup you guessed right. It’s very similar to Amazon Echo and Google Home. The company, however, claims that there product is much better and will be launched in December.
