Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is Kojima’s final Metal Gear masterpiece

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been gathering rave reviews from all major publications, including 10/10 scores from both IGN and Gamespot. The title currently sits at a 95% at Metacritic.

God is a Geek states:

This isn’t just the best Metal Gear game, nor is it just the best stealth game, it is one of the best games ever made.

Kojima has said his goodbyes to Metal Gear Solid but we might be getting something new from the legendary developer soon

Hideo Kojima is one of the greatest visionaries of the industry, and hopefully we will experience many more unique and special titles, coming from him in the future. A certain title that has been announced just recently might be the famed developer’s next project, but until the game’s full reveal on September 11, we can not be completely certain. It would indeed be quite exciting though if Hideo Kojima has already moved on to even more great endeavours.
