A few days ago, Koei Tecmo made fan of the Berserk series quite happy by announcing a new game starring the Black Swordsman currently in development by Omega Force. The teaser trailer from a few days ago didn’t tell us much about the game, but today we have learned more about it thanks to a full trailer.

The new Berserk Musou trailer, which can be watched right below, features some short gameplay sequences which seem to suggest how Omega Force is doing a very good job in capturing the spirit of the series created by Kentaro Miura while keeping in line with the typical gameplay experience of the Dynasty Warriors series and its many spin-off titles. Not too difficult, considering how many enemies Guts has cut down in his long journey through the darkness.

Additionally, the Japanese magazine Famitsu also recently shared a couple of new screenshots which showcase Guts and Griffith, confirming that there will be multiple playable characters. You can check out the screenshots right below.

Berserk Musou will cover the majority of the Berserk story, starting from the Golden Age arc until the Millennium Falcon arc. Scenes from the original anime and the more recent movies will be depicted using 3D models, and additional story material not found in both anime and movies will also be in. As already mentioned, Berserk Musou will feature multiple characters from the Berserk universe, all voiced by the same actors who provided their voices in recent times.

Berserk Musou will launch this September in Japan on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita. The game has been confirmed for PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, but a final release date has yet to be confirmed. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more comes in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
