Here’s another concept of the upcoming iPhone 8 that highlights two key differences that we can expect from the upcoming smartphone. Needless to say, it definitely looks like a lot of effort went into making this concept, and if something like this comes true during the September announcement, then it looks like customers wanting to upgrade to the iPhone 8 are going to be a happy bunch of smartphone users.

Function Area of iPhone 8 Concept Shows Rows of Icons While the Phone Itself Boasts a Curved Panel That Melts Towards the Sides

Most of the details of the concept are already present in previous smartphone iterations such as the power button, the volume rockers and of course the profile switch that is present right above the volume buttons. What is interesting to view in this latest iPhone 8 concept by AlHasan Husni is that the function area behaves more or less towards the functionality oozing from the Touch Bar of the 2016 MacBook Pro family. Using your finger, you can either swipe left or right and a slew of icons will burst in front of you allowing you to trigger multiple tasks in quick succession.

We are not sure if this will render the Control Center useless, but we are going to have to wait and see when the iPhone 8 is officially announced. Another thing that caught our eye was the curved edge-to-edge display. The iPhone 8 is expected to feature an OLED panel, which should make it easier for manufacturers to give it a curved shape, and that is probably the reason why you see such a shape being formed at the edges of the smartphone.

It is definitely not a bezel-less approach like the Mi MIX because you still have your front camera sensor mounted at the top along with the metal speaker grill. Looking at this concept, we are even more pumped for the announcement that’s going to kick off in September and it is a no-brainer that the iPhone 8 is going to feature a radical design makeover.
