The test of the flagships was always something that I was looking forward to between iPhone 7 and Galaxy Note 7. While the results of the showdown have been given below, I have a feeling that we already know who the real winner is going to be, and while we all have our thoughts on different outcomes, let’s just enjoy this speed test.

The Realistic Speed Test Shows an iPhone 7 Taking on a Galaxy Note 7: Which Smartphone Is Going to be the Victor?

PhoneBuff does a number of speed tests that are regarded as realistic mainly because the content creator does not get involved in running a slew of benchmarking apps. Instead, the realistic speed test is based on which device is able to open up applications at a faster pace. Apple’s iOS has gained significant notoriety for being the smoothest mobile platform on the planet. Google’s barrage of updates have improved the OS, but it still has a long way to go, at least in my opinion.

The hardware specifications that you view on an iPhone possess a completely different meaning on an Android handset, and looking at the specs on paper, Galaxy Note 7 clearly has the upper hand in this. However, even after possessing half the RAM as a Galaxy Note 7, iPhone 7 clearly has the lead against Samsung’s latest and greatest phablet. One thing I would like to add is that Galaxy Note 7 features a very dense resolution in comparison to iPhone 7, so naturally you would expect the difference.

However, ask yourself this; Samsung does not need to go into overdrive mode and incorporate a QHD panel to deliver a great smartphone experience. The same thing could be carried out with a 1080p panel, and who knows the results could have been much different. Regardless, we have listed the video below so look at it and tell us what you think.
