Apple’s iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus will be launched in just two days. As has been the case before them, the pair has surfaced consistently on the rumor mill. Since December of 2015, we’ve been seeing information leak out about the devices in one form or the other. This year’s iPhones will upgrade incrementally over their predecessors. Apple won’t be making any major design changes, but you should expect subtle upgrades. The most resounding of these has been the removal of the 3.5mm earphone jack and a dual camera setup for the iPhone 7 Plus. Now, some more information about the devices’ color variants has surfaced. Take a look below to find out more.

Alleged Foxconn Leak Shows Two Black Color Variants For the iPhone 7

The iPhone 7 has seen some interesting rumors surface over the past couple of months. One of these is related to alleged color variants for the device. We’ve seen rumors that have claimed up to five color variants for the iPhone. These include new variants of black and an all new blue color option. Now, looks like Apple won’t be content by simply changing Space Gray to Space Black. Some more alleged information from the company’s primary manufacturing partner Foxconn has surfaced today. This suggests two black color options this time around.

As you can see in the image below, two black color options for the iPhone 7 have surfaced today. They’re courtesy of twitter user @TheMalignant, who has been quite active in the iPhone sphere lately. According to the source of these images, the two images represent Piano Black and Dark Black. To that end, we’ve already seen an alleged image of the latter posted by The Malignant earlier on as well.

These testing stickers represent the same version of the iPhone 7, namely D10. They’ve got different storage specifications however. The Matte Black iPhone 7 shows 128GB of storage and the piano black shows storage of 256GB. Upgraded storage for the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 is another rumor that has appeared consistently over the past couple of months. An increase in storage time is a long time demand of Cupertino’s loyal user base, so this year does bear some good news.

As always, any news before upcoming launches should be treated with adequate amounts of salt. The rumor mill has been accurate in the past but it does churn out absolute nonsense as well. So far, the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus are rumored with no earphone jack, upgraded cameras, redesigned antenna bands and more color options. Whether these turn out to be correct, only time will tell. Till then, stay tuned and let us know what you think in the comments section below. We’ll keep you updated on the latest.
