iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus launch time frame has been potentially revealed in a newly published report.

iPhone 6 family

It’s been rumored for quite a while now that the iPhone 6s and its bigger brother, the iPhone 6s Plus, will be revealed at a special media event on September 9th. While that date is an educated guess based on several reports and rumors flying around, it’s quite possible that Best Buy’s internal plan to begin offering AppleCare+ later this year might’ve just revealed the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus launch time frame, according to 9to5Mac.

According to the source, Best Buy will allow users to purchase AppleCare and AppleCare+ directly from the retail giant in September, and the warranty combines itself with Best Buy’s in-store warranty plan as well. Now, the interesting thing to note here is that Best Buy will start offering AppleCare and AppleCare+ plans on September 14th, a date that falls a few days after when the new Cupertino flagships are set to make their debut.

A coincidence? We don’t think so.

It’s also worth mentioning here that once this Best Buy + AppleCare deal goes live on September 14th, the retail giant will become the first store to sell Apple’s warranty and care plan outside of an Apple Store itself, as noted by the source.

We’ve come to witness a bunch of leaks regarding the iPhone 6s, and pretty much everything is known about the fabled device, but we’re yet to hear about it from Apple’s mouth itself, and we’re certain that would happen on September 9th, if rumors turn out to be true.

The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are expected to feature a Force Touch display, a faster A9 chip, and lightning fast LTE. The devices are also rumored to pack in better camera sensors this time around, bumping the megapixel count to 12 from 8, a number which Apple has stuck with a long time in its iPhone lineup of smartphones. To top things off, the new iPhones will come pre-installed with iOS 9, Apple’s next-gen operating system for its mobile lineup of devices.

We’ll bring our readers more news as we get wind of it, so stay tuned for more in the coming days.
