As days pass by the rumors surrounding Apple’s imminent release of a next generation iPhone, primarily iPhone 5 have started to cloud the web even more densely. Everyday there are several reports claiming the official launch period of the dominant smartphone. Adding to the fetter, it is said to be reported by Gizmodo that a tipster at AT&T informed them that Apple has blacked out the last two weeks of September for the AT&T employees. Coinciding with the previous rumors is it really the launch period of iPhone 5?
According to Apple Insider an anonymous employee at AT&T sent a message to Gizmodo stating that his boss has announced that all the vacation requests for the last two weeks of September will be denied due to an ‘event blackout’. The source reports:

Subject: Iphone 5 release time
I’m an att employee and my boss just announced that vacation requests for the end of september will be denied due to an “event blackout”. Historically the only time they’ve done this was for an iphone release. So we’re looking at the last two weeks of september.
Well in one way or another it is most likely to be the case as today we saw Radioshack slacking the prices of previous iPhones and it could be very well due to the fact that Apple is planning to launch the next generation iPhone 5.
Previously 9to5 Mac reported an iPhone 5 being tested in a subway by most likely an Apple employee who was on his way back home from San Francisco and as we reported earlier, China Times claims that iPhone 5 will launch in September so it is very likely that we are about to witness a mega event.
Will it really be September? Will the redesigned iPhone 5 with A5 Processor hit the shelves as expected? We’ll keep you updated as the saga continues.
