The popular dual-camera Huawei P9 is now available to purchase in two additional colors, though we have to say that you will have to pay slightly more to get your hands on one of these.

Huawei P9 Now Comes in Cranberry Red or Metallic-esque Blue – You’ll Have to Pay $50 More to Get Your Hands on One of These

Getting the favorite color of your choice will require you to spend more money on a smartphone, with the newest color models added to the company’s smartphone lineup, I personally think that the Cranberry Red looks far more attractive than the regular versions, or even the Rose Gold variant that several manufacturers have started to release in abundance.

Armed with a Kirin 955, Huawei P9 features the following processor configuration:

  • Quad-core 2.5GHz Cortex-A72
  • Quad-core 1.8GHz Cortex-A53

Huawei P9 features a 5.2-inch screen with a 1080p resolution and consumers will be able to purchase two internal storage models, a 32 and a 64GB one. However, it would be wise to purchase the 32GB storage model, since both models feature a MicroSD card slot for you to expand your storage up to 128GB.

Moving on, the smartphone sports a dual-camera setup, with each sensor being a 12MP shooter. Unfortunately, the F/2.2 aperture is not wide enough to let significant amount of light in. Furthermore, Huawei P9 does feature a pressure sensitive touch display either, so let us hope that that the upcoming Mate 9 comes with such a feature.

Despite its 5.2-inch large screen, Huawei was still able to accommodate a large cell underneath its hood, and that value stands in at 3,000mAh. Since most manufacturers have started to switch to USB-C cables, it should not come as a surprise that Huawei P9 also came with this particular connector. The battery is compatible with a fast charging feature, but we are not so sure that it is due to the connector itself that will contribute to this. According to the specifications, the battery will be able to charge up to 44 percent in just 30 minutes, but it is advised that you continue using the bundled charging and cable.
