HTC Announced It’s First Wearable Fitness Tracker, The HTC Grip

There have been a lot of wearable devices coming this year, some are released while others are pipe lined for later. Some tech giants have launched android wears which integrate with android smartphones and other have emphasized to fitness trackers. Albeit, both types contribute a lot to the tech industry. Nonetheless, according to the speculations, the wearable most awaited has finally been announced today which is associated to HTC. Yes! The temptation and wait for HTC’s wearable has come to an end, finally!

However, HTC did not announce an Android Wear Smartwatch which was anticipated and rumored, instead HTC announced a Fitness Tracker which is GPS enabled. The name they gave their tracker relates to sports and fitness – Grip. Its nice to see HTC finally coming towards wearable after the long period of silence. ‘Grip’is HTC’s first product line which is partnered with Under Armour. The reason HTC chose Under Armour is their UA Record System which will keep track of workouts and runs. Pretty neat isn’t it? Grip Has All Elements Of A Perfect Fitness Tracker

Grip comes in a matte finish with black color and proves itself to be greater than other trackers we have seen so far. The interior band is colorful to be easy on the eyes and the display is rounded or curved with pretty cool visuals. Grip reminds us of two gadgets, the Microsoft Band and Nike’s FuelBand 2, So Grip is basically a hybrid of both. For your benefit, Grip is bestowed with five sensors to keep record of your fitness routine and workouts. Among the five sensors is a GPS system which for runners is a must have tool. There is also a ‘multi sport mode’which detects your activities and keeps record, it can even detect running or cycling patterns. Grip is really impressive when it comes to sport activities and its a perfect tool to put you in complete shape.

Peter Chou CEO of HTC said, “Simply put, Grip will train you as if you have a team of professional experts coaching you the entire time, And its very fun.” Indeed Grip has all the elements that breaks boundaries and provide you with the best utility.
