It might not be that big of a surprise, but Ubisoft’s upcoming melee action title, For Honor,  is receiving a season pass.

Like every Ubisoft title recently, several editions of the game will be released – a standard edition, a deluxe edition, and a gold edition. While the standard and deluxe editions are bundled with special game packs for those who pre-order, the gold edition of the game comes with the ‘For Honor Season Pass’.

Through the season pass, Ubisoft will be offering “a year’s worth of expansions, exclusive content, and more” for For Honor. The exact contents haven’t been listed, but according to the Xbox Store, “additional details will follow soon”.

For Honor drops gamers into the chaos of a raging battlefield during an ongoing war between three Great Factions: the bold Knights (the Legions), the brutal Vikings (the Warborn) and the enigmatic Samurai (the Chosen).

For Honor was announced during the E3 of 2015

The visceral melee-combat title from Ubisoft Montreal was unveiled during the E3 of 2015.

“Our vision with For Honor is to create a game that ignites the same emotions that a warrior would feel on a real battlefield. The tension of face-to-face encounters with deadly enemies, the adrenaline of charging alongside your army against the opposition, and the danger of a chaotic battle when you don’t know where the next strike will come from,” said Jason Vandenberghe, Creative Director, Ubisoft. “It’s a game that celebrates the art of sword-fighting and the legacy of the legendary warriors from those great legacies, the Knights, the Vikings and the Samurai that we brought together in one single experience.”

For Honor is scheduled for a release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 14th, 2017.
