Agent 47 heads to Japan to play doctor. The season finale of Hitman is live now with a host of new ways to kill people.

Episode 6: Hokkaido has Agent 47 flying out to Japan. Here you have to break into the Gama Facility, a super hi-tech mountainside hospital/resort, that’s run by a state-of-the-art AI that takes care of the day to day operations. This time around there are only two people to take out as opposed to Episode 5’s four targets in Colorado.

There’s a sushi restaurant, hot spring and a Zen garden in the hospital that should open up the possibilities of murder. Judging by the trailer, it looks like we might be able to hijack the AI and use it in our favor. There’s a pretty sizable update also launching with episode 6 that should bring a number of bug fixes and improvement fans have been asking for.

By the way, we’ve previewed the Hokkaido episode and we also have an interview with Creative Director Christian Elverdam on Season one as a whole.

Hannes Seifert, Studio Head at Io-Interactive, looks back at decision to go completely episodic with Hitman:

It was a brave decision to go fully digital episodic with Hitman, fundamentally changing how we make the game, and for us it has been a major success. I want to say a big thank you to all the players for making this possible! Together we’ve built and run the biggest and most replayable locations of any Hitman game and added new live content every single week since launch. And although we’re now completing season one, this is only the beginning for our ever expanding World of Assassination.

Episode 6 of Hitman is out now on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4 for $9.99. The Season Pass is $59.99 which contains Episodes 1-6 and the Prologue. The retail disc version which contains all the content will be available January 31 for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
