Previously, we had reported the official images of Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, but this time, we have come across the high-resolution pictures of both Microsoft’s upcoming flagship smartphones.

A source was able to retrieve the images of both Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL and sure enough, the chassis surrounding their innards looks to be made of polycarbonate. According to our previous article, the Microsoft Store had accidentally placed both of the software giant’s upcoming flagship smartphones on the company’s website, but pricing details of both devices still remain elusive. From the previous images that we looked at, Lumia 950 XL is going to feature a 5.7 inch screen and a 1440p display, but its form factor is going to make it slightly thicker than Lumia 950, which has a screen size of 5.2 inches.

Given below are the hardware specifications of Lumia 950, and right below it, is the high resolution image of the smartphone.

Since these smartphones will be running high-end Snapdragon chipsets, the Type-C USB ports should be compatible with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 functionality, assuming there is a compatible charger that has been bundled with the retail packaging. The expected announcement date of both Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 950 is October 6, so we will keep you updated on all the elusive details on the aforementioned date.
