If You Are Looking For A Healthy Lifestyle And Are Having Trouble Doing So-These Are The Must Fitness Apps To Try
Having a healthy lifestyle is becoming extremely difficult especially with the kind of lives we live. We have jobs to do, bills to pay, study for college, a social life, party and what not. With our fast paced lives our dependency on fast food and junk food has increased a lot over the years. For some reason and I hate to admit that I do this too, eating this kind of food while watching our favorite seasons is becoming a method for beating depression. What we don’t realize is that a healthy and a fit lifestyle that involves some sort of exercise helps fight depression and stress much more effectively. This is where fitness apps come in.
I have used a number of fitness apps and this week I decided to check out the most highly reviewed apps and choose the top 5 from among them. Now some apps provide you with customized workout plans, some just track your running; some provide you with the ability to track what you are doing etc. The ones I chose are very diverse, easy to use, interactive and not ones you could just get bored of easily.
Fitness App: 30 Day Fit Challenge Workout
This fitness app by Leap Fitness Group had extremely high reviews so I had to check it out. It is easy to use and it comes with these amazing videos that tell you what to do. You have the option of doing a full body workout, abs workout, butt workout, arm workout and leg workout. Under each category there are various kinds of workouts with attached videos so you don’t ever have to look up videos and figure out which is best for you. This app has all this covered. This app is best for people who don’t want to get professional trainers or don’t have the time or money to go to the gym.It is free of cost and helps you change your lifestyle in just 30 days.
Fitness App: Calorie Counter-MyFitnessPal
I am a huge fan of this app. I have used it for a while now and I find it pretty useful. If you are anything like me and don’t have the time to hit the gym or exercise, controlling your intake is something that you can do. There is no point in exercise if you are just going to eat double the amount. This app is your best friend and helps control what you consume. With the help of this app you can create recipes and keep a track of the calories in it. If you had a cheat day and treated yourself to a McDonald’s burger you can keep a track of that too. The app helps you keep track of anything from burgers to Indian food so no need to worry if you aren’t in the US. The app has your cuisine covered too. One setback to the app, however, is that the premium version isn’t free. Use the free version and if the benefits outweigh the costs you shouldn’t worry about paying for premium. After all, health is wealth right?
Fitness App: 7 minute Workout
Got a very busy schedule? No time for anything? Then this app by Simple Design Ltd. is best for you. It provides you with a 7 minute workout and you can easily squeeze it in when you are procrastinating and taking a break from work. This app provides you with a classic workout (push-ups, jumping jacks, crunches etc), 30 day challenge, abs workout, butt workout and leg workouts. Select the one you want and start. Just follow the animations and you are in for a 7 minute quick and effective workout. A friend recommended this app and I owe her for this one.
Fitness App: FitNotes-Gym Workout Log
The reviews on this fitness app forced me to check it out. Everyone seemed to love it so I checked to see what the big deal was. For a free app it is extremely good. It has a lot to offer and is very easy to use. The whole point of this app is to keep a track of your exercise or gym routine. Some of my fitness freak friends keep written logs of their gym routine and I personally think it is a hassle. After I went through this app I recommended it to them. This app allows you to track everything from workouts to any changes in your weight, waist size, etc. It is extremely customizable unlike some other apps. The best part is that your entire track can be displayed in the form of graphs and let’s just admit it; graphs and images just make things better. A graph is a nerd’s best friend so trust me you will love it.
Fitness App: Home Workouts Personal Trainer
This app offers workouts in the categories of easy, medium and hard. Under each one these comes special workouts whose names are so attractive that I want to try them all. Get in shape, Get in shape fast, Skinny muscle, sexy body, fat off muscle on, full body weight loss, great legs etc are some of the interesting workout names. The app offers videos for whatever specific part you want to work on. If you want to do cardio, videos for cardio exercises are available, if you want to do exercise or arms, specific videos for that category are available. It’s a great app with great features and it becomes even better once you move on to the premium.
