Halo 5: Guardians – Second Live Action Trailer
Just a few hours ago we reported on the first live action trailer released for Halo 5: Guardians, which was indeed quite special. It featured Spartan Locke, or the “Hunter”, while the second one which can be watched below features the Master Chief, the “Hunted”.
The second episode of HUNTtheTRUTH, BEHIND THE STORY OF THE MASTER CHIEF, has also been released (episode 01) that details journalist and war photographer Benjamin Giraud in a weekly episodic investigation into the origins of modern-day superhero Master Chief.
The two trailers are not just promotional material, as has been suggested by some of the fans, but rather indicate the premise of Halo 5: Guardians. There is a lot of emphasis placed on the dynamic between the two characters, and Microsoft will surely reveal some more information soon.
343 Industries head Bonnie Ross stated:
We wanted Halo 5: Guardians to be the game that pays off the epic promise of the Halo universe in scope and scale and drama.
“We want to amaze players with the sheer size of the worlds and battles they’ll experience, even as they question everything they thought they knew about its heroes, marvels and mysteries. #HunttheTruth is only the beginning and we can’t wait to debut the game to Xbox fans around the world at E3 this June.”

HUNT THE TRUTH
BEHIND THE STORY OF THE MASTER CHIEF
Journalist. War photographer.
For decades, I’ve served the galaxy as a journalist and war photographer. I’ve covered human-interest stories on Earth and in the Inner and Outer Colonies. I’ve also contracted for the government, covering military affairs. I was at New Mombasa when the Master Chief first appeared to combat the Covenant attack.
