G.SKILL Launches the Phoenix III SATA 6Gb/s SandForce SSD

G.Skill has launched its new Phoenix III Series SandForce controlled Solid State Drives. The drives come in 120GB and 140GB variants.

The Phoenix III solid state drive is based on the SF-2281 controller offering 550 MB/s read and 520 MB/s sequential write speeds. Dimensions wise, the drive come in 2.5″ inch form factor and are 7mm thick. The 120GB variant costs $95 and 140GB variant goes for $180.

Each SSD is shipped with a 3.5″ mounting bracket and three years warranty by G.Skill. For more details, Please visit product page here.
