All your gore in one disc with Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition

Posted 5 years ago

Mortal Kombat was every 2-D fighters dream come true in the year 2011; it offered something which Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom and many other fighters can NEVER pull off. The beauty of gore shown through fatalities, damage to the players after the fight and not to mention blood splatter ALL over the place at the end of a battle. The game came with a very amazing multiplayer system which included King of the Hill mode making the game a must buy for fans of the legendary series, but it gets better as the Komplete Edition will give you Rain, Skarlet, Kenshi and Freddy Krueger along with ALL the original pre-order original costumes for characters such as Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Jade, Kitana AND MORE.

Mortal Kombat was among my most anticipated 2-D Fighters of 2011 and for a very good reason too. It is the only game in a long line of 2-D Fighters to do gore so well and with the return of the reboot last year it showed us that Boon Tobias still has the magic fingers to make fighting Gory and still fun, while I have nothing against Street Fighter or Marvel vs. Capcom but it’s still fun to add a little salt (okay I’m lying, A LOT OF SALT) to a person’s open wound by finishing them off with a gory fatality and not to mention the added benefits of blood spraying everywhere and the addition of X-Ray moves made this game even more amazing than any other game out there in its time, and with a revamped and very addictive multiplayer for fighting fans I can easily say that Mortal Kombat 9 was easily my favorite fighting game of 2011.

The gore gets even better as the “Komplete Edition” is coming out tomorrow which gives you ALL the paid DLC characters; Skarlet, Kenshi, Freddy Kruger and Rain. But if that isn’t enough incentive then throw in ALL the original costumes which were originally pre-order items with various retailers but now ALL the costumes come with the game along with bonus fatalities with each costume. Considering that the game is for the same price as the original $59.99 I would say that this is a great price for it especially if you still haven’t played this fantastic game.

The game is out 28th February 2012 for the XBOX 360 and the PlayStation 3 so get to your nearest retailer and grab this amazing game pronto, I know I am.
