GoldenEye, one of the most legendary names in video games. Some call it the most remarkable FPS of its time and it rightly deserves the title. After jumping from the Nintendo 64 to being re made for the Nintendo Wii it seems that it’s time for 007 to break into a newer platform. 007 is tired of Nintendo and now he is coming in HD and beautiful graphics as a full fledged game for the PlayStation 3 and the XBOX 360, are you as surprised as I am? Nintendo actually losing one of its best exclusives after so many years?

Activsion is going to publish the game while EuroCom is developing it, while the trailer looks like its going to be more of a Call of Duty with fancy gadgets and escape sequences it does look pretty good, The game is headed for the PlayStation 3 and the XBOX 360 but amazingly there is no news about it coming on the PC. This wouldn’t be the first time a mutliplatform FPS skipped the PC anyway.

I enjoyed playing GoldenEye on the Wii and am looking forward to seeing this in stores. There is no fixed release date but the date is Fall 2011 which means a proper release date is imminent.
