A fresh report claims that shortly after both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have been announced (which is March 29), Samsung is not going to waste any time in putting up a pre-order procedure for early adopters wanting to get their hands on the latest and greatest flagship.

According to the Report, Both Flagships Are Going up for Pre-Order Starting From April 7

If a new report is to be believed, then you can rest assure that Samsung wants to roll out the release of its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus as soon as possible. Die-hard fans must be following these leaks close to the letter and we can only imagine what their impression is going to be of the new flagships. From its curved edge displays to their tried and tested glass and metal build, these new phones come without a physical home button, thus resulting in a higher screen real estate for the user.

ETNews has reported that three Korean carriers will start to accept pre-orders for the devices through Monday, April 17. After arranging orders, there is expected to be a special ‘Galaxy S8 pre-launch day’ that will take place the following day at some brick-and-mortar stores. As for when these flagships will start to officially get sold, one analyst is adamant that both handsets will be sold starting from April 21.

He also goes on to say that the resolutions of both phones are not going to measure in at 2560 x 1440, but 2960 x 2400 instead. The Galaxy S8 is expected to feature a 3,000mAh battery, maintaining the same capacity found in the Galaxy S7, and quite honestly, we are disappointed to hear this because the upcoming flagship will have a screen size of 5.8 inches compared to the S7’s 5.1-inch panel. With all that improved screen real-estate, a larger battery is warranted. Galaxy S8 Plus, on the other hand, is expected to feature a 3,500mAh cell underneath the hood and both models are expected to be shipped out in the 4 and 6GB RAM configurations.
