We can all form a broad image in our mind on what the Galaxy Note 8 is going to look like when Samsung officially unveils the phablet. While some will incessantly state that the smartphone will resemble a slightly larger version of the Galaxy S8+, these new image and video render combos reveal what to expect from the handset. Keep in mind that the actual handset’s design could completely change in the future.

Reliable leakster OnLeaks has graced us with an image gallery and video combo that reveal what the Galaxy Note 8 could look like when Samsung takes center stage, possibly in New York, to release its greatest smartphone for 2017. First off, our attention went straight towards the dual-camera hardware, and while we believed that the handset would come with a vertically mounted dual-camera configuration, this is where we were surprised the most.

Lots of phones are scheduled to come this year, including the iPhone 8 and they have been leaked time and time again to tout a vertical dual-camera so we’re wondering why Samsung would opt for this approach. Looks like we will be finding out in the near future, but before the phone is officially unveiled, here are our predictions of what the secondary lens will be capable of.

According to previous rumors, the secondary lens, or the Telephoto lens will be capable of 3X Lossless Zoom functionality, which is crossing the limits of Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus’ camera. It should also allow users to snap images through software magic to create a shallow depth of field, which is the same kind of effect you see from DSLR cameras.

That is definitely a nice feature to have in a smartphone, and looking at how Samsung has improved its camera hardware on mobile devices, the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to heavily impress the crowd in this category.

If you can, do take the time and patience to view all images and the video given below and we promise you will not be left disappointed.
