The Galaxy Note 8 will most likely sport the larger and attractive ‘Infinity Display’ that has transformed Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ into one of the most attractive smartphones for 2017. Now, the protective glass of the phablet has been leaked, with several metrics such as the phone’s measurements detailed as well.

Galaxy Note 8 Expected to Get a 6.3-Inch Edge-to-Edge Display – Dimensions of the Smartphone Have Also Been Detailed

According to a leak courtesy of Twitter, the Note 8’s protective glass is expected to sport the same approach as that of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. However, since the upcoming flagship phablet is going to feature a slightly larger display than its smaller cousins, the protective glass is going to be bigger when measured diagonally, which was expected.

In addition, we should also expect that the phone is going to be marginally thicker than the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ on account that the upcoming phone is going to feature an S-Pen holster as well as a dual-camera module. The dual-camera is expected to be mounted horizontally so that might add to the overall thickness level of the phone substantially.

According to previous leaks, the Galaxy Note 8 is going to measure in at 162.4 x 74.5 x 8.4mm, along with a thickness level of 9.5mm when you decide to include the aforementioned smartphone elements such as S-Pen holster and dual-camera upgrade. It’s not yet clear if the Galaxy Note 8 is going to get an in-display fingerprint reader but if Samsung is going to mount one at the rear side if no option is available, then it should be positioned slightly below the camera lens so that it can be accessed with greater ease.

This will be considered as less cumbersome when comparing the reader’s positioning present on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Overall, we are well satisfied with what we are seeing in the leaked image and we certainly hope you that are too.

Though the protective glass might not be different than what was placed on its predecessors, the increased screen real estate will definitely come with its broad list of advantages.
