It’s a rare sight to see a Galaxy Note 7 standing toe to toe against Apple’s iPhone 6s, but in this latest drop test, there are no performance metrics measured. Instead, we will be seeing whose build quality allows it to withstand a drop from a substantial amount of height.

Galaxy Note 7 Takes on Apple’s iPhone 6s in The Latest Drop Test Video

We’ve included the separate drop test of Galaxy Note 7 in the video below, so if you want to check it out, you can do so at any time. However, we are confident in checking out the latest drop test that’s going to take place between two mobile computing titans.

Without spoiling anything for you guys, we want you to take a look at the video and then give us your comments. Just in case you were wondering, the Gorilla Glass 5 present on Galaxy Note 7 protects it from a height of 1.6 meters, and it’s also been designed to protect the display of the device from scratches. For handsets not protected by Gorilla Glass 5, if it’s not the drop that will ruin the display, it will definitely be a rough display or the unforgiving end of a keychain.

Unfortunately, Gorilla Glass 4 does not offer this sort of protection and only provides protection till a height of 1 meter. While 1 meter is fairly sufficient to protect your phone, it’s the rough surface that it’s going to be susceptible to.

iPhone 6s on the other hand, does not feature any reinforcement from Corning, but instead features an ion-strengthened glass, which does provide a decent amount of protection. iPhone 7 has been rumored to come with Gorilla Glass 5, but before its official announcement, we want you to check out which smartphone emerges the victor.
