Default in fact

I live in Johar Town. Is the world call cable net service available there?

I remember, my bro asked them 2 yrs ago but they weren't operating in Johar Town then.

Acha how about service. Which option is best in terms of service?
Why would Wateen solution take more than a week of time?

I need that for my home. My family needs to communicate with me over VOIP...ukno pardesis probs

Default no no no

I found out that WorldCall Go4B service is not available for my block in Johar Town.

Now, I'm left with only wireless options...
pata nahi
micro net
vptcl
worldcall wireless
...

tell me, tell me
which one is best among them?

My usage will be VoIP/video calls and some light browsing. Buss!

you should call upp wateen to do some signal strength test before you just give up on it..

other than that, no wireless currently mite give you a constant fats enuff speed for VOIP...

rest assured, LAN connection is the easiest, most fast,(as much speed you want), and cheapest method.. also,Vptcl is quite good..reaches max 14-16kbps sometimes..and cheap too..

Default Han yaar

I also tried LAN wala internet sometime ago but those ppl are always sh*tty in dealing.
I'll see if that's possible.
Alternatively, I'll ask Wateen guys to do a signal strength test at my side.

If all else fails, I'll go for Vptcl wala solution.[I remember we got worldcall wireless wala soln. abt a year ago and their signals were crappy, even phone talk was impossible]

Chalo thnx all. More advice will be appreciated anytime. Thnx.

i think so for wateen wimax

i have had a very shitty experience with vptcl, although i had a full signal strength

i got so frustrated with the inconsistency of the signals, that it threw it out of the window

well thats my story, maybe it is much better for u

Please don't subscribe to Wateen,if you did then it will be the biggest mistake of your life, I have banged my head thousand of times due to its shitty downloading speeds even though my signal values are perfect(excellent) .. doNOT try it,its my sincere advice.Rest depends on you.

Well i think buy Mobilink Indigo, and use your cellphone as a modem, (this option is available, do a little search on how to use your cellphone as an external modem, maybe the user manual of your phone will help), Indigo internet is Rs 500 per month unlimited. This information is a bit old, but see the latest rates and packages. Do consider it an option.
