Similar thoughts in here. And I'm absolutely blown away with its page rendering speeds [try opening Gmail and you'll see what I'm talking about].
That said, it has automatically imported my bookmarks / saved passwords / user-ids from FF 3.0, all without much input from me, during the installation process. Nice work!

every tab has its own memory slot so if you open up 10 tabs then every tab will be registered separately in the memory. Which is good and bad as if I add up all the tabs I have opened in chrome, compared to the other browsers, the memory hog is about almost 33% more than the rest. So it fails... for now

Software developers out there can have a look at the source code . Its available here.
Getting Started (Chromium Developer Documentation) You will need Visual Studio 2005. If you only want to look at the source code, you'll need at least 1.6 GB of hard drive space available. If you want to build it, you will need just under 10 GB of space, including all the object files and executables. |

Using it since morning ... and loving it.
Now I see why google recruiters want every CPU cycle to be used .... just missing plugins... firefox doesn't as well...... it is the plug-in.

I've been on it since morning as well. And apart from my bank's website [using secure session of JVM] it's handled everything well, so far. The best thing about it, for me, is that it doesn't feel like a hog on my system resources. It never slows anything down.

I agree with Kursed I also feel while using Firefox there is a tendency for things to slow down although with Chrome its the total opposite.I have found it till now to be the stablest beta build of any software that I have used in recent years!
