German govt. IT security department advises against using google chrome. Germany’s Office for Information Security is advising anyone who’ll listen to steer clear of the crayon invader’s brand new beta. At least for anything other than experimental tasks.

Default Firefox vs Chrome

Try this for a speed check...

Open Firefox side by side with Chrome...

write the address of a site in both browsers that you have never visited.

Run in Firefox first then alt tab to Chrome and do same.

Chrome pwns Firefox.

Farhan Bhai click on the "wrench" icon in top right corner of google chrome. Select Import bookmarks & settings from the drop down menu.
It should have the option of importing bookmarks/favorites, search engines, saved passwords and browsing history.

Enjoy T3h browser.

@stickman
what a wonderful skit..made me crack a bigh smile..kudos..

BTW, Bill`s wife is THIS hot??

@subzero
yes thats the oldest way of comparison of speed, good enuff for home testing, except that which ever browser gets hit first, sucks up major bandwidth first, leaving little for other, thus making it look slow.. also there is a Cache for firefox or chrome, whichever you have used more, and pages will load fatser for that,,..
thats why reviewers, run java scripts and time it with digital stopwatches, to ensure accuracy..

@maz9009
i KNOW that.. im not that idiot...i said i tried it in the option, WRENCH as you like to call it, bt it only imports 2 folders and leaves the 8 behind..thats was WTF..and only few passwords were copied only

Okiez, i have un-installed it..not fun any more..

Chill dude. I meant no disrespect and was only trying to help. Importing bookmarks from Firefox worked fine for me though.

Too bad there is no option to export bookmarks to a file like Firefox has.

And it's surpassed Safari - as far as traffic to our website is concerned.

It's disappointed me so far. Too slow on sites like youtube and sites with flash etc. Also tends to hang up and slow down quite frequently.

I also performed the aforementioned test Chrome/Firefox and Chrome was substantially slower. I'm sticking with Firefox.
