I m doing that for years now. But regarding download managers, IDM is good coz due to power outage your files will not get corrupt, if u have UPS n your PC still restarts it saves your files (like in my case). But IDM sheduler is not that flexible like DAP and IDA Flashget, leechget....

For free Rapidshare User:
If U have bandwidth and speed, upload usefull stuff to rapidshare making free "Collectors account" . Post links of your uploads to forums, you will earn points for downloads that people will do and you can finally convert points into premium account.

If you don't have speed and bandwidth, search for useful mihd.net files on the net, and get the direct link for these mihd.net files by requesting direct links, paste those direct links to "Remote uploads" in your collectors account. Finally post those links to different forums...and the same previous procedure to earn points.

For direct link files you can also go to enfull.com (Use downloading manager to find the direct link and paste that to "remote uploads" in your rapidshare collectors account.

But I have rapidshare download manager. Which works like a charm, and more easy to use. All you have to do is define your premium user account details, in the download manager. And off you go.

u can also try FDM free download manager
its free and can download asl multiple sessions at a time of a single file

I use jdownloader however someone tell me what's with rapidshare why are they changing passwords of evey account? I use my friend's account and every account he gives me its password gets changed next time I try to use
