These are correct I think. The bill collector came today and I'm like disconnect it as I've switched to Ptcl. He's like you'll be getting 768k in 1800. Then I'm like thank you very much, I'm already paying less than that for the ptcl 1mb.

Thanks for the update.

Can you guys pls tell me which ISP is the better one to go for now in Karachi. Not only from cost of bandwidth but actual bandwidth and web sites availability and accessibility?

Question - If I have my own ADSL modem what difference would that make with PTCL and LDN connection offers?

Secondly do PTCL and LDN offer non-contractual deals? i.e. if a connection is taken for sometime and then asked to be suspended due to customer traveling abroad and re-connected upon return?

ok i called at 111-111-965 chick picked up and i asked about rates , she said well we dont have complete info but i thing is confirmed that rates have been revised. so we can say its true.

dont get ptcl if you would want to get it terminated every now and then,because ptcl support just sucks,meaning they are too slow,even if you apply for a connection they would take at least couple of weeks.
dont know about LDN
